About Us: Mane Intimates
I started Mane Intimates because of a girl named Chelsea.
She lived like she meant it. Sunrise, sunset, every single day, she'd watch them like they were the first and last she'd ever see. She made friends with everyone. She walked into a room and somehow the room got brighter. Whatever made her happy, she just did it, no overthinking, no waiting for the "right time."
I'd been thinking about starting this brand for over six years. Six years of someday. Then Chelsea passed away, and something in me shifted completely. Life is short, she'd shown me that better than anyone and I finally understood I didn't have forever to do the thing I kept putting off. So I sat down and sketched a set with absolutely no idea what I was doing. I named it Chelsea, because I wanted her to live on through something that actually felt like her. Warm, alive, feminine and unapologetically herself.
That set became Mane Intimates.
Here's the part that's less about grief and more about why intimates specifically: on my own self love journey, I noticed something. Every time I put on a matching set.. like really put it on, looked at myself properly in the mirror, maybe even took a photo, I felt confident. Not performative confidence. The real kind. The kind where you actually like what's looking back at you.
That's what I want for every woman who wears Mane. Not just beautiful lingerie but a moment, however small, where you catch your reflection and actually feel proud of it. Where you love yourself a little more than you did five minutes ago. Sometimes that's all it takes. The right set, the right mirror, the right moment.
We design with vintage 60s–90s inspiration, modern silhouettes, and sustainable materials because if we're asking you to feel something real in these pieces, they need to be made with the same care. But underneath all of that, every piece still comes back to the same thing it did at the very beginning: living fully, loving yourself, and not waiting for someday.
Thank you for being here, and for being part of Chelsea's story with me.
